Miss Gearing's Class Blog

An interactive class blog to support all our students' learning

Welcome back October 20, 2009

Filed under: Uncategorized — missgearingsclass @ 4:24 pm

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to another great term which is jam- packed with exciting things to do and learn about!

It’s been a while since I’ve updated our blog and there are a lot of things to post. Some of you are still asking about the ‘Wacky Wednesday’ narratives we did on the dusty day last term. They will (eventually) be published on here, I just have to find a good spare hour or two ( or three) to do it! It might actually be a better idea to choose people from class to publish their work during the literacy session.

This Saturday is the school fete. 4G are running the sponge- throwing stall, three throws for $1. I will be sending home a note to ask for your help and whether or not you are willing to have a sponge thrown at your face to raise some money. Goggles will be supplied of course!

Remember to bring along with you to school all of the important and essential things you need to do quality work. We have a bit of a shortage of glue, rulers and scissors in the classroom. Please bring in your own glue, ruler and pair of scissors so we eliminate time spent looking for resources.

Keep checking as I will be adding more information about the term as soon as I can.

Adios,

Miss Gearing

Hello everyone,

I am blown away by how creative everyone’s narratives are about the dusty Wednesday that has just passed. I am currently looking through them and will have to choose a few of them to publish on here.

Just how am I going to choose though, they’re all very good!

Hmm- eenie, meenie, miney, mo?
